Chip inHow to use the Quotation Generator
- Set up your brand once — logo, colours, contact details.
- Add the client, the date it is valid until, and what you are quoting for.
- Adjust the layout on the “Design” tab if you want to.
- Download or print it. The design is saved for the next quote.
Questions people ask
What is the difference between a quotation and an invoice?
A quotation is an offer: here is what the work would cost, valid for a period. An invoice is a demand for payment for work already agreed or done. The same design works for both — switch tools and your brand carries over.
How long should a quote be valid?
Thirty days is the usual default, and it is worth stating plainly so prices are not held against you months later. Set the “Valid until” date and it prints in the heading.
Can I turn an accepted quote into an invoice?
Not in one click yet. For now, open the invoice generator — it uses the same brand and design, so you only re-enter the lines.
