Terms of use

Last updated 5 October 2026

1. The agreement

TechTur Free Tools is operated by TechTur Solutions (Pty) Ltd. Using the site means accepting these terms. They are deliberately short, because the arrangement is simple: the tools are free, and they are provided as they are.

2. What it costs

Nothing. There is no account, no trial and no feature held back for payment. We may show advertising and accept voluntary support to cover the cost of running the site, and we may introduce paid features in future — but anything that is free today stays free.

3. Your work is yours

Whatever you create with these tools belongs to you. We claim no rights over the text you enter, the files you open, or the documents, codes and images you produce. We do not store them.

4. No warranty

The tools are provided “as is”. We work hard to get the arithmetic and the output right, and we fix what gets reported, but we cannot guarantee that every result is correct for every purpose. Check anything that matters. In particular, nothing here is financial, tax, legal or professional advice — a VAT calculation is arithmetic, not a ruling from SARS.

5. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, TechTur Solutions (Pty) Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from use of this site, including loss of data, loss of profit, or a decision taken on the strength of a result produced here. If you need a guaranteed outcome, have it checked by someone who can give you one.

6. Fair use

You agree not to:

  • use the tools to produce anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading;
  • attempt to overload, probe or interfere with the site or the server it runs on;
  • use the feedback or suggestion forms to send bulk, abusive or automated messages;
  • scrape or republish the site wholesale as your own.

Using the tools in your own work — including commercial work — is entirely fine and encouraged.

7. Availability

We will keep the site up, but we do not promise it will never be down, and we may change, move or retire a tool. Where a tool is removed we will try to say why.

8. Privacy

How we handle data is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
