About TechTur Free Tools
This is a small collection of tools for the jobs that interrupt real work — counting the words in something you are writing to a limit, taking VAT out of a price, tidying text pasted out of a PDF, making a QR code for a poster. There are 19 of them so far.
Why it exists
Most free-tool sites make you wait through an advert, sign up, or upload a file you would rather not hand over. We wanted the opposite: open the page, do the thing, close the tab.
It is built and paid for by TechTur Solutions, a South African studio that builds websites, online stores and web applications. The honest commercial reason it exists is that some people who find a tool useful later need something custom built, and think of us. That is the whole arrangement — the tools are not a trial of anything.
How it stays free
Advertising, eventually, and anyone who wants to chip in can. Nothing is ever locked behind either. If a tool works today it will work tomorrow, at no cost, with no account.
Why things run in your browser
Where a tool says it runs in your browser, it means the work happens on your own device and nothing is sent to us. That is partly about privacy — these tools get used on invoices, contracts and personal documents — and partly practical: this site shares a server with other work, and using your device instead of ours is what keeps it fast and free to run.
Where something genuinely cannot work that way, the page says so plainly rather than quietly uploading your file.
What is coming
Image and PDF tools, then business document generators — invoices, quotations and letterheads you can design once with your own logo and colours, save, and reuse. If you need something before then, tell us and it goes onto the list.
