QR Code Generator
Make a QR code for a link, some text, a phone number or Wi-Fi.
Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is uploaded or stored.
Appearance
Keep a strong contrast between the two colours — a light code on a dark background fails on many scanners.
Fill in the field above and your QR code appears here.
The code holds your content directly — it does not point at this website, so there is nothing to expire.
How to use the QR Code Generator
- Choose what the code should contain — a link, plain text, a phone number, an email or Wi-Fi details.
- Fill it in, then adjust the size, colours and error correction if you need to.
- Download the PNG for screens and print, or the SVG if it needs to scale.
Questions people ask
Will the code stop working later?
No. The code contains your content directly — it does not point at this website, so there is nothing to expire and no redirect that can break. Once you have downloaded it, it is yours.
What is error correction and which level should I use?
It is how much of the code can be damaged or covered before it stops scanning, from about 7% at level L to about 30% at level H. Use L for a clean screen or document, and H if the code will be printed small, on a label, or with a logo over the middle.
PNG or SVG?
PNG for a document, a slide or a social post. SVG if it will be printed large or resized, because it stays sharp at any size.
Does the Wi-Fi option share my password with anyone?
The code is made in your browser and never sent anywhere. But the password is inside the code itself, so anyone who can see or scan the printed code can read it.
